LifeSciKY hosted its “Science on the Rocks” event, bringing together members of the community to engage with life sciences in a more accessible, social setting. The event featured speakers and interactive discussions, aimed at making science approachable while sharing innovation happening in the region. LifeSciKY announced Northern Kentucky University senior Tyler Egloff as its newest Innovation Fellow, a program designed to provide students with hands-on experience in the life sciences industry. Through the fellowship, students work alongside startup founders, scientists, and industry leaders while gaining exposure to biotechnology innovation, entrepreneurship, and laboratory operations.

LifeSciKY was recognized as a 2026 Fire Awards honoree by the Cincinnati Business Courier for its rapid growth and impact within the Greater Cincinnati innovation ecosystem. Located at the OneNKY Center in Northern Kentucky, LifeSciKY provides flexible wet lab space, shared scientific equipment, and operational support for startups, researchers, and early-stage life sciences companies. Other Northern Kentucky organizations recognized included LifeSciKY resident company Simbryo Technologies, CTI Clinical Trials & Consulting, and Bexion Pharmaceuticals, highlighting the continued momentum and growth of the region’s life sciences sector.
